Organic Versus Natural Skincare

There's so much talk today about organic and natural and what NOT to put on your skin.  I think it can all get a little bit confusing so I wanted to explain the difference between the 2 because many people do not know (or think they know, but maybe have a few things confused?)  Also, everyone seems to be throwing around these terms and it many cases they are incorrectly stated.  It is important what we put ON our skin because it ends up IN our bodies as well.  When you read a label of something think, "do I want that IN my body?"  After reading many articles here are some great tips I have found.

- If you truly want organic, look for the certified organic symbol on the product.  These products have had to go through an extensive process to guarantee they are pure, natural products with no synthetic chemicals or use of pesiticides.
*However, keep in mind that this process is costly and there are some great skincare lines (smaller, new and young) that still have great products that may qualify but haven't been through this process.  You can use do your own research on products.

-READ ALL INGREDIENTS - Here is a Natural skincare glossary that you can use this glossary BEAUTYHUM natural glossary  Keep in Mind that the most important ingredients are listed first so pay close attention to the top 3!
